Ammo going up
 

Went to Wally World tonite, picked up two boxes of 22's 500 for 11.46, 9s,38,45s and the like really going up in price, counter guy said they had a big price increase coming soon.

Seems I've been buying the 550 round 22 rimfire boxes from Federal for around $8. Did you buy 2 boxes for $11.46 or $11.46 each?

$11.46 each,, havent seen 8$ boxes in a long time down south, wish I could find some, the old 10/22 really burns them up.

If it was just the calibers needed with the current service rifles I wouldn't be so concerned. But, not being able to find 303 British surplus is worrying.

I use 303 Brit myself, and the lack of supply has gotten me to look toward reloading. You can still mail order stuff through "cheaper than dirt".

They even have unloaded brass, which I will purchase next time I buy.

I went to Walmart tonight and checked on 45ACP prices and they have not moved one cent from over a month ago. Perhaps the increase is still coming, but it ain't here yet.
